Luisa + Matthew chose to elope in Yosemite National Park. They had the specific location + date selected when the unfortunate California fires began to spread leaving their ceremony site in disrepair.
Although sad, they found the silver lining + acted fast. They chose to have an intimate wedding under the redwoods in Santa Cruz, California. This way, they could actually have their family + friends be a part of the ceremony as the location was only a short walk in comparison to a 10+ mile hike.
Their forest wedding was a true fairytale. Their family + friends gathered around them in a circle as they said their “I do’s”.
We ended the evening in an epic portrait session on the California coast just at sunset. This was in true fashion a California wedding – redwoods, sprawling coastline, + unique personality.
